Description
No. 16 St Mary's Hill is a building from 1671, located on the west side of St Mary's Hill. It is similar in style to Nos 14 and 15 and features early 19th-century architecture. The building has three storeys constructed from coursed rubble and is topped with a stone slate roof that includes one dormer. There are three double-hung sash windows, each with glazing bars, set under stone flat arches with keystones and surrounded by stone rusticated detailing. A band continues along the building. The shop front, dating from the 19th century, includes pilasters and lacks glazing bars. To the left, there is a doorway that has been converted into a window. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 8, 9, and Nos 11 to 16 St Mary's Hill.
