Description

This is an 18th-century building on Middle Street. It is two storeys and has attics, and the exterior is stuccoed. The roof has been replaced with a mansard design, covered in tiles, and includes a modern dormer window. A single sash window remains on the first floor, with restored glazing bars. A modern bow window has been added to the ground floor, also with restored glazing bars. A doorcase on the left side features an open pediment with a festoon moulding, a reeded frieze, urns, and plain pilasters; it leads to a four-panelled door. The side elevation is weatherboarded. The building forms a group with numbers 140 to 148 (even).
