Description

MIDDLE STREET 1. 1035 (West Side) Nos 161 to 165 (odd) No 167 (Sheraton Cottage ) TR 5755 SW 2/64A II GV 2. Under one roof span. An early C19 terrace no longer uniform. 2 storeys anti attics red brick. Old tiled roof. 1 sash to each with some glazing bars intact. Stringcourse to Nos 165 and l67. No 161 has a simple moulded doorcase with cornice. No 163 has a doorcase with moulded architrave and keystone. No 165 has a plain stone surround with keystone to its door and No 167 has a modern pedimented doorcase. Included for group value. Nos 161 to 189 (odd) form a group.
