Description

The gates to Denton Park, dating from the late 18th century, are a pair of wrought iron gates featuring scrolled rails and pierced mid rails. They are flanked by openwork piers adorned with lyre-shaped panels. An elaborate scrolled overthrow contains the letter "W" for Welby. On either side of the main gates are smaller pedestrian gates, which are similar in design and also include overthrows.
