Description
This building is a farmhouse located opposite the entrance to Denton Manor, dating from the 17th century, with significant alterations and extensions made around 1800. The front is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, while the sides and rear are made of ironstone. It features a pantile roof with two brick gable stacks and has a T-plan layout. The house is two storeys high with a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a six flush panelled door, flanked by two single two-light casement windows. On the first floor, there are two two-light casements and a central three-light fixed window. All window and door openings are topped with shaped serpentine lintels that include key blocks.
