Description

The boathouse in Denton Park, built around 1880 and possibly designed by Sir Arthur Blomfield, is a notable structure made of red brick with ashlar dressings. It features a slate roof adorned with stone kneelers and ball finials. A semi-circular ashlar archway with imposts is positioned right on the lakeside, offering a covered mooring for boats. This boathouse was created as part of the Denton Park landscape for the Welby family.
