WELTON DALE ROAD SE 9527 (west side) 9/74 Gates and gate piers to Welton Hall GV II Gates and gate piers. Late C18. Ashlar and wrought iron. Pair of gates with lower dog rail and serpentine top rail. Gate piers: each has a moulded base beneath a recessed panel and a string: elongated recessed panel above and an oval rosette to the frieze. Cornice and cap with floral ornament. Ball finials now missing.
