Description

These late 18th-century gate piers and garden wall form part of the Well Hall estate. The structure comprises two square, rusticated gate piers constructed of ashlar stone. Each pier features moulded bands at the top, a ramped frieze, a moulded cornice, and tapering stems intended to support missing ball finials. Connecting rubble stone walls, approximately six feet high, extend on either side of the piers.
