Description
The building is a stables, granary, and pigeon cote located to the west of Well Hall, dating from the mid-18th century with later alterations. It is constructed of rubblestone, rendered, and features a pantile roof. The structure is two storeys high and has five bays. The central bay contains a board door set in a stone surround with a moulded archivolt and keystone. On either side of the central bay, there are two unequally spaced casement windows. On the first floor, the central bay has a blind round-arched opening, while the outer bays each have inserted casement windows and pairs of brick-blocked original openings. The central bay is topped with a gable that has a round-arched opening and two rows of pigeon nesting holes at the base. The building features shaped kneelers on the raised gables, although the coping is missing. At the rear, there is an external stone stair leading to the first-floor granary.
