Description

No. 9 The Green is a house dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with painted stone dressings and has a concrete tile roof. The building has two storeys and features a symmetrical facade with three bays. The central entrance is highlighted by a porch with a roof and a plain overlight set in a chamfered surround, which includes consoles and a cornice. On either side of the entrance are sash windows with glazing bars, and above them are three jambs. All the windows have wedge lintels and projecting sills. The house also has a bracketed eaves cornice and end stacks. This building is included in the listing for its group value only.
