Description

This is a late 18th-century public house, later altered in the mid-19th century and the 20th century, and now used as a cottage with an adjoining outbuilding. It is constructed of red brick with a pantile roof and has two 20th-century gable stacks and brick coped gables. The building is single-storey with an attic, and has three bays. The central doorway has a panelled door, and either side are single, plain sash windows. All the openings have wooden lintels. Two dormers with single-glazing-bar sashes are visible in the attic. To the left is a single-storey, three-bay outbuilding, which has a doorway with a plank door; to the right is a single 20th-century casement window, with no openings to the left.
