Description

This is a late 18th-century house with alterations dating to around 1840. It is constructed of red brick with colourwashed ashlar dressings, and has a hipped slate roof with two red brick stacks at the rear. Bracketed eaves and a shallow plinth are also present. The corner pilasters are giant, with two recessed panels stacked above one another. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. The central doorway features an ornate panelled door, overlight, Doric half columns, an entablature, and a cornice. Flanking the doorway are single sash windows with glazing bars set under a segmental arch. Above are three similar sash windows. All windows are set within ashlar eared architraves that rise to form a keystone.
