Description
30 and 32 Market Street are a pair of cottages built around 1820, with some alterations made in the 20th century. They are constructed of red brick, with the right cottage featuring a slate roof and the left cottage having a concrete tile roof. Both cottages have two gable stacks and moulded wooden eaves. The right gable is coped and shows some tumbling. The buildings are two storeys high and consist of four bays. There are two doorways, each with panelled doors and blind fanlights. To the right, there is a single glazing bar sash window, and to the left, a single plain sash window. The upper level features a corresponding window pattern, and all sashes have flush wedge lintels. These cottages are included in the listing for their group value.
