Description
Gosden Cottages is a pair of cottages built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature a hipped plain tiled roof. The cottages are two storeys high with a symmetrical front. There are end stacks on both the left and right sides, as well as a square ridge stack in the center. The first floor has five glazing bar sash windows, along with one painted blocked window, all set beneath gauged brick heads. The ground floor includes four glazing bar sash windows. The door for No. 7 is located on the left side under a pentice porch hood, while No. 8 has a door on the right side of the center, situated in a curved, gabled porch supported by wooden elements. There is also a single-storey brick extension to the left. The cottages are prominently located at the edge of a green and are noted for their group value.
