Description
Chinthurst Farm Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century. It has a timber-framed core that is clad in sandstone, with brick dressings and angle quoins. The roof is plain tiled, hipped, with a gable on the left side. There is a rebuilt ridge stack on the right. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, featuring a gabled, tile-hung dormer on the front right. The ground floor has an irregular arrangement of three windows, two of which are under cambered heads and are currently boarded up. There is a stable-style door on the right-hand return front. To the right, there is a single-storey extension that is weatherboarded. Inside, the ceiling frames are visible, but the cottage was derelict at the time of the last survey.
