Description

Hill Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that features a timber frame clad in brown brick, with the right-hand gable exposed and filled with brick. It has a plain tiled, half-hipped roof with end gablets. The cottage is two storeys tall, with a small stack at the left end and a central stack on the right. The windows are leaded casements, with four on the first floor and three below, all set under cambered heads. There is a half-glazed door located to the right of centre, which is sheltered by a braced gabled hood. To the right, there is a 20th-century brick extension that is set back and extends to the right, featuring a hip and gablet roof and comprising a single storey and attic.
