Description

This is a house dating to circa 1820 in Long Sutton. It is constructed of colourwashed brick with colourwashed ashlar dressings, and has a hipped slate roof. Two paired brick stacks are visible at the rear, and there are paired bracketed eaves. The corner pilasters are giant order and feature an impost band that forms a band below the eaves. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. The central doorway has an ornate panelled door, overlight, paired Doric columns, a moulded entablature, and a slight cornice. Flanking the doorway are single glazing bar sashes with Gothic glazing bars to the upper half. Three matching, smaller sashes are situated above. All sashes have eared architraves.
