Description
No. 3 Market Street is an early 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall with attics and features a tiled roof. The upper storey is roughly rendered, while the ground floor is fully rendered. It has two later flat-topped dormers and three windows with rendered surrounds that are shaped in an 18th-century style, lacking glazing bars. The left-hand side of the ground floor displays channelled rustication, with a modern door and a window set in a rendered recess above the stall riser. The right-hand side features two small shop windows and a modern door within a doorway that has channelled pilasters. The stall risers are rendered, and there is a plinth at the base. This building is part of a group with Nos 3 to 6 Market Street.
