Description

The farmyard located to the north of Number 10 (The Manor House) dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring brick and ashlar dressings, and has hipped Welsh slate roofs. The south front includes a carriage house and stables on the right, characterized by a projecting central bay with a large brick segment-headed arch. Above this arch is a pediment that contains a loft door with a fanlight above and a semi-circular brick head. To the right, there is a pair of double plank doors, and to the left, two stable doors, all of which are set under segment brick heads. To the left of this central section are three ranges of farm buildings arranged end-on, with narrow crewyards in between, each having a south entrance marked by brick gatepiers between the end walls.

On the north front, there is a large two-storey barn on the right, which features five continuous segment-headed brick arches. To the left of the barn, there are double plank doors, another smaller doorway, and a carriage arch with double plank doors, all topped with segment brick heads. Above these openings are two loft doors, one at either end. To the left, there is another small crewyard situated between lower ranges of buildings.
