Description

The cottage located to the west of Kirkby Green Mill is an outbuilding dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings and features a pantile roof with two gable brick stacks. The building has brick dentilated eaves, a brick plinth, and ashlar quoins. It is a single-storey structure with five bays. The central bay contains a two-light casement window, with another two-light casement window to the left in what was formerly a doorway. To the right, there is a doorway with a plank door, flanked by two single two-light casements, all of which are set beneath segmental brick heads.
