Description

The Manor House is a late 18th-century farmhouse situated on Church Lane in Kirkby Green. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with brick and ashlar dressings, and features a slate roof with four gable and three ridge brick stacks. The building is arranged in a double range with an L-shaped layout.

The south-facing garden front has an off-centre doorway with a wooden moulded surround, a pediment above, a six-panel door, and a fanlight. Single canted bay windows flank the doorway, both with margin light sashes. To the left of the doorway is a single margin light sash window with a segment brick head. Above, there are four glazing bar sashes, all with segment brick heads.
