Description

Nos 90 and 92 Upgate are early to mid 19th century buildings made of red brick and topped with Welsh slates. They are two storeys tall and feature four flush sash windows that sit beneath stucco flat arches with ribbed keystones. The buildings have a first-floor band and a bracketed cornice. The doors are adorned with ornamental glazed fanlights set in panelled reveals, which are surrounded by attached fluted Ionic columns and entablatures. There are steps leading up to the doors, which are complemented by wrought iron railings. Nos 70 to 104 (even) form a group.
