Description
Nos 28 and 30 Upgate are early 19th century buildings that stand three storeys tall and are constructed of brick. The façade features three windows with wooden frames; one window has glazing bars while the other two have modern casements. On the first floor, there are two canted oriel windows from the mid-19th century that flank a modern casement window. The ground floor includes a late 19th-century and modern shop front, and a dentil cornice extends over the passage entry. These buildings are listed as part of a group that includes Nos 16 to 32 (even) and the former Black Bull Public House.
