Description

Nos 52 and 54 on New Road are early to mid 19th century buildings, dating from around 1830 to 1840. They are constructed of red brick and have a Welsh slated roof. The buildings are two storeys high, with the first floor featuring a band and three Doric pilasters. There are two sash windows with glazing bars, which are set under flat arches. The doorways have plain surrounds and are topped with hoods supported by cut bracket consoles. These properties, along with Nos 40 to 50, form a group.
