Description
Buxton House is a building dating from around 1830 to 1840, designed in the Neoclassical style. It is constructed of red brick with stucco dressings and features a hipped concrete pantiled roof with paired bracketed eaves cornice. The building stands two storeys high and has three sash windows with glazing bars, each framed by architrave surrounds and ground floor cornices supported on consoles. The entrance consists of a four-panelled door topped by a rectangular fanlight, all set within a surround that is also under a cornice supported by consoles, flanking a panelled frieze.
