Description

This is an early 19th century pair of houses located on New Road in Linslade. The buildings are constructed of stucco, with a hipped roof covered in Welsh slate. They are three storeys high and feature five full-height incised Doric pilasters. There are four sash windows to each house, with glazing bars, and two doorways with narrow Doric pilasters supporting cornice hoods. The doors are six-panelled, with two flush panels and geometrical glazing bars to the fanlights. A 19th century shop has been added to the right-hand side, with later alterations. Two end passageways are distinguished by round-headed arches. Nos 40 to 50 (even) form a group.
