Description
These are two houses built in the earlier 19th century, resembling numbers 40 and 42 on the same road. The exterior is rendered in stucco, and the roof is covered with Welsh slate. The houses are two storeys high and have four sash windows each, incorporating glazing bars. They feature three full-height pilasters decorated with incised Doric detailing. The front doors are panelled, with six panels, two of which are flush, and are topped by rectangular fanlights containing geometrical glazing bars, all within surrounds of slim Doric pilasters and under cornice hoods. Number 50 has an area of concrete pantiles. Numbers 40 to 50 (even) are a group of buildings.
