Description
No. 7 Church Street is a house that has been converted into a shop and store. It was built in 1786 and altered in the 19th century. The building is made of red-brown brick laid in English bond and features a pantile roof with brick coped gables and a single gable stack.
The exterior is three stories high with a three-bay front that includes a brick band on the second floor. The 19th-century shop front has plain pilasters, an angled fascia, and a moulded cornice. On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sash windows, and the second floor also has three similar windows, all with segmental brick heads. On the rear wall, there is an ashlar datestone inscribed "MEI 1786."
The interior has not been inspected.
