Description
Nos. 9 and 11 Church Street are a pair of houses that have been converted into shops, with a store and office above. They were originally built in the 18th century but were refronted in the mid-19th century, with some 20th-century alterations. The buildings are made of red brick in Flemish bond and feature a pantile roof with a single gable stack.
The exterior is three stories high and has a three-bay front. On the right side, there is a 20th-century shop front, while the left side features a late 19th-century shop front with pilasters and moulded brackets. The first floor has three windows, and the second floor has three smaller, similar windows. All the windows are glazing bar sashes with splayed stucco lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
