Description

No. 5 Church Close is a house built in the early 19th century. It features colourwashed brick and a Westmorland slate roof with a coped gable and a stack on the right side.

The exterior has three storeys and a two-bay front. On the left, there is a six-panel door with a three-paned overlight, set within a pedimented doorcase that has narrow pilasters decorated with harebell chains and paterae. To the right of the door are two glazing bar sash windows. The first floor has two similar windows, while the second floor has two smaller windows. All windows have brick segmental arched heads. At the rear, there are additional glazing bar sash windows and a semicircular headed stair window.

The interior has not been inspected.
