Description

This mid-19th century house is located on Spilsby Road, Boston. The exterior is constructed of yellow stock brick with painted stucco and ashlar dressings, topped by a hipped roof covered in Welsh slate and featuring two wall stacks. The two-storey, five-bay facade has a low brick plinth. The central bay is slightly projected and contains a half-glazed panelled door with a fanlight and panelled ingoes, approached by four steps and sheltered by a porch with Ionic columns, columns in antis, a plain entablature, cornice and a leaded top. Flanking the entrance are a pair of plain sash windows. Five plain sash windows are arranged 2:1:2 on the first floor. All windows have splayed stucco lintels with grooved keystones. The interior was not inspected.
