Description

This is a pair of early 19th-century houses situated on Spilsby Road, Boston. The houses are built of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with painted stone dressings and a hipped concrete tiled roof featuring a central ridge stack. The exterior is three storeys and arranged with a three-bay front. A first-floor sill band and overhanging eaves featuring paired brackets are prominent features. The ground floor has a central blank semicircular-headed opening flanked by single, large canted bay windows with plain sashes, pilasters, and flat lead roofs. Above this, the first floor has a central blank opening flanked by single plain sashes and, above that, three similar, slightly smaller openings. All windows are set within cambered brick arches and have keystones. Side entrances are present. The interior has not been inspected.
