Description

A pair of houses dating from the late 1830s, located on Spilsby Road, Boston. They are constructed of yellow stock brick with painted ashlar dressings, and feature a hipped slate roof with a central ridge stack. The houses have a brick plinth and overhanging eaves supported by paired brackets. Each house has a two-panel door at either side of the front, leading up a flight of stone steps and above each is a plain overlight set within a pilastered surround topped with a cornice and lead hood. The basement has two glazing bar sashes, the ground floor has two wider, similar windows, and the first floor has four narrower, similar windows. All openings are topped with cambered, splayed, rusticated stone lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
