Description

The footbridge over the River Devon is an early 19th-century pedestrian bridge made of brick. The east side of the bridge shares a common wall with adjacent garden walls, which are not included in the listing. It features a single segmental arch that spans the river, with two holes in the spandrels that allow passage through the bridge to each side. There is a partial parapet over the arch, with iron railings filling the gaps. Raking walls extend to the north and south, supported by sloping buttresses at intervals.
