52/115 Footbridge 31.8.79 II

Pedestrian bridge over River Devon. Early C19. Brick. East side is common with adjacent garden walls (which are not included). Single segmental arch spans river, with, in the spandrels, a hole passing through bridge to each side (2 holes in all). Partial parapet over arch, the interstice with iron railings. Raking walls extend north and south supported by sloping buttresses at intervals.
