Description
This is a milepost located on the east side of Melton Road in Croxton Kerrial, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and has a triangular shape with a hollow rear and a rounded top. The left side is inscribed with "TO MELTON MOWBRAY 7 MILES," while the right side reads "TO GRANTHAM 9 MILES."
