Description
This is a milepost from the early to mid-19th century, made of cast iron. It has a triangular shape with a hollow rear and features a rounded top. The front is inscribed with the words "PARISH OF WALTHAM." On the left side, it indicates "TO MELTON MOWBRAY 5 MILES," and on the right side, it states "TO GRANTHAM 11 MILES."
