Description
The Old Rectory is a house, formerly a rectory, dating from the late 17th century and altered in the 19th century. It is built of coursed limestone rubble with a pantile roof and brick ridge and end stacks. The building has a three-unit plan and is two stories high with a three-window range. There is a 19th-century door to the right of the center, which is set in a gabled timber porch. To the left of the door are three-light wood mullion and transom windows on the ground floor, featuring stone lintels and hood moulds. Above the door and to the left of center on the first floor, there are three-light casement windows with similar heads. The right end bay slightly projects forward from the porch and has a blocked rectangular window on the ground floor, which has a chamfered stone surround, and a two-light casement window at the far right with a stone lintel and hood mould. The interior has not been inspected.
