Description

Mill House is a house from the early 19th century that has been divided into two separate units. It is constructed of coursed ironstone with some brick, and the roofs are made of graded Swithland slate, slate, and concrete tiles. The building has a two-storey front with a central 20th-century door that is accessed by a flight of timber steps leading up to a gabled porch. Both the steps and the porch are also from the 20th century and have been designed to accommodate the steep drop in the ground level.

On the ground floor, there are two casement windows, and above them, there are two additional two-light casement windows that align with the doorway. All window details are from the 20th century and feature brick segmental heads. The gabled roof is covered with Swithland slate and has a brick chimney stack located to the right of the center, in line with the front wall. There is also a west internal brick gable-end stack. At the rear, there is a cross wing that shares similar architectural details and has a gabled slate roof. Between the cross wing and the rear of the front range, there is a long sloping outshut with a catslide roof, featuring 20th-century casements and concrete roof tiles.
