Description

Elm Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of coursed ironstone with a roof made of graded slate. The building stands two storeys high and features three bays. The front has tripartite sash windows, except for the center windows on each floor, which are single sashes, all of which include glazing bars. There is no doorway on the front. The gabled roof has brick stacks at the internal gable ends. The rear of the farmhouse is broadly similar, with single sashes on the first floor and no window in the ground floor south room. There is a 20th-century door at the rear.
