Description

This is a milepost located on the east side of Main Street in Croxton Kerrial, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and has a triangular shape with a hollow rear. The top is rounded and features the lettering "PARISH OF CROXTON KERRIAL." On the left side, it indicates "TO MELTON MOWBRAY 9 MILES," and on the right side, it states "TO GRANTHAM 7 MILES."
