Description

This is a milepost located on Melton Road in Croxton Kerrial, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and has a triangular section with a hollow rear. The top is rounded and features the inscription "PARISH OF CROXTON KERRIAL." On the left side, it indicates "TO MELTON MOWBRAY 10 MILES," and on the right side, it states "TO GRANTHAM 6 MILES."
