Description

Laurels Farmhouse, now without a farm, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed ironstone with a pantiled roof. The building has a late lobby-entrance plan and comprises two storeys, arranged in four irregular and widely spaced bays. A 20th-century gabled trellis porch shelters a panelled door located in the second bay from the left. The ground floor features three three-light casement windows beneath segmental arches, while the first floor has three similar casement windows under straight lintels. The roof is gabled and features internal limestone gable-end stacks and a limestone central ridge stack.
