Description

The Gatehouse is a building located on Belvoir Pasture Lane in Knipton, dating from around 1890. It is constructed from coursed ironstone with limestone dressings and features a roof made of machine tiles. The building has a cruciform gabled plan, with the north-south gables being taller than the east-west gables. The windows are designed as 2- or 3-light casements. Notable architectural details include bargeboards with decorative ogeed pendants that are formed into an arcade, and there is a stack on the east roof slope.
