Description

This is a primary school built in 1850, with an extension added to the rear in 1868. It is constructed from coursed ironstone, featuring limestone quoins and dressings, and has a slate roof. The building is single-storey and consists of one by three bays. The entrance is located at the north gable and is covered by a hood mould. Above the entrance, there is a three-light cross casement window with a hood. The west side of the building is marked by three three-light close-lattice casement windows. The gabled roof supports a slender louvred bell-turret topped by a tall spire. The bargeboards are pierced and have a wavy design.
