Description
Nos 13 and 14 on Denton Lane are a pair of houses from the 1860s, part of the Belvoir Estate. They are built from coursed ironstone with limestone quoins and window dressings. The buildings are two storeys high, featuring a central gabled cross wing that projects towards the street front. This wing has two 2-light cross casements on the ground floor and two 2-light casements on the first floor, all of which are topped with hood moulds that have label stops. The gable head displays the Manners coat of arms. The single bays on either side of the central gable each have one 2-light casement on the ground floor, also with hood moulds. The houses have a gabled roof and a cluster of four central octagonal brick chimney flues set on a brick plinth.
