Description
Hillside Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from coursed ironstone with limestone dressings and has a pantiled roof. The north front features four irregular bays over two storeys. There is a 20th-century door located to the left of centre. To the left, there is an early 20th-century three-light cross casement window, and to the right, there are two similar windows. The first floor has three three-light and one two-light cross casement windows, all from the 20th century, with segmental oolite heads. The gabled roof has internal brick end stacks, with the western stack rebuilt in the late 20th century, and a central brick ridge stack. Additionally, there are two late 20th-century roof lights.
