Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with older origins, and has been altered in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features a pantile roof with brick end stacks. The building is designed in an L shape and is two stories high with a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a 6-panel door from the 20th century, which is topped by a fanlight and has a round-arched head. The ground and first floors have 3-light casement windows, also from the 20th century, and there is a blocked window above the door. To the rear left, there is a two-story wing that was extended in brick during the 19th century, which includes a back door and sliding casement windows. Inside, the farmhouse features stop-chamfered spine beams, an open fireplace with a cambered stop-chamfered bressumer, and stone-flagged floors.
