Description
Vale Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, around 1830. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features pantile roofs with three gable stacks and a single ridge stack. The building has an L-shaped plan and is two stories high with three bays. The 19th-century range includes a doorway on the left with a brick segmental head and a panelled door. To the right, there are two 20th-century casement windows, also with brick segmental heads. Above, there are three more 20th-century casements. The late 18th-century cross wing has five 20th-century casements under a brick segmental head, with a two-light 20th-century casement to the left, and three additional 20th-century casements with brick segmental heads above.
