Description

The Vicarage is a late 18th century vicarage house, with additions from the early 20th century. It is constructed of ironstone rubble with a pantile roof and gable stacks. The two-storey, three-bay front has a projecting four-bay addition to the right, featuring a hipped roof. A central doorway is topped with an open pediment and a traceried fanlight. The doorway is framed by a moulded wood doorcase with fielded panelling on the interior surfaces, and it contains a deep-set panelled door. The doorway is flanked by single three-light casement windows from the 20th century, each with a segmental head. Above these are two similar windows, and a two-light casement with a segmental head sits above the door. The building is included on the list for its group value.
