Description
Stockshill Cottage is an early 19th-century building that was originally two cottages and is now a house. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble, with some red brick, and features a pantile roof with gable stacks. The cottage is two stories high and has a five-bay front with brick quoins.
To the left, there is a doorway with a brick segmental head and a partially glazed door. This doorway is flanked by 20th-century casement windows, both with brick segmental heads. To the right, there is a blocked doorway with a sliding sash window beyond it, both also featuring brick segmental heads. On the upper floor, there are two sliding sash windows and a single 20th-century casement window. Additionally, there is a blocked rectangular opening above the doorway and another similar blocked opening with a small leaded light window set within it, located above the blocked doorway.
